How this all went down..

Ok, this is to try and explain how we went from having a due date of june 30th to being in the hospital and having a 10 week preemie.
Nancy had a very very normal pregnancy. All was well until the 19th of april when she had a couple of signs to tell her to call her OB. We headed up to the hospital for what we thougt would be a little checkup and they would send us on our way. Worst case we would get no sleep that night and have to sleep in sunday morning at home and catch up.
Well the short version goes a little like this...We found out very quickly that there was a little but of cause for concern due to the babies heart rate dropping with every conraction. They started nancy on meds to stop the contractions but the babies heart rate still was dropping to a very critical level. This went on over a period of 3 days and never seemed to get better.
The decision was made at around 5;30PM on april 22nd 2008 to do an emergent C-Section and get little ellie out. This was what all parties felt was the best for baby and mom.
So at 6:46Pm April 22nd, 2008 Ellie Kate Yarbrough was brought, kicking and screaming into this world. She was 3lbs 3.28 ounces and 17 inches.
