Surgery Update

Ellie had her surgery today and we got some very good news. The doctor found a cyst on her larynx that caused almost a complete obstruction of her airway. Her was able to drain the fluid from the cyst and give her some breathing room. He said that he did not believe that the cyst would return and thought in a week or so she would be good as new. We are so relieved that he found something and was able to make a big change in her airway. This should help her over the next day or so. She cried tonight so loud I think she woke up half the unit. It is amazing what happends when you can breath.

Right before surgery, she was unhappy and needed to be held.

She was resting well after she came back. She looked great.
