All bottles and a transfusion..

Today we found out that ellie will now take a bottle for every feed. This was an important step for her because she needs to be on all bottles to come home. Nancy was able to breast feed her for the first time today. Ellie did great and took almost half of her feed that way and the rest they gave her by bottle. We also found out that due to all of the blood cultures she is now very anemic and they decided to go ahead and give her a transfusion. The really cool part of that is that I donated blood for her a couple of weeks ago and that is what she will recieve. Hopefully she wil feel like a new little girl tommorrow.

Ellie is very interested in what that red stuff is going into her IV. She has no idea how much better she will feel after this.
