Ellie had another rough night last night. She was very uncomfortable and upset all night and most of the day. She has what they call stridor and she was laboring with her breaths. They decided to go back to tube feeds and give her a break until they can figure out what is going on with her airway. They brought in an ENT this afternoon and he checked everything out. He said that she has inflamation in her airway due to the reflux. He really did not make any large changes but told us that she will grow out of this with age.
She got her NG tube back today to give her a break from the bottle and rest her throat.
